Young Chefs Club ages 8-14: Croissant Workshop

For ages 8–14!

In this two-hour, hands-on KIDS-ONLY baking class, students are empowered to bake on their own, building confidence, independence, and real kitchen skills. Our baking instructors will teach your child how to safely handle baking equipment, develop safe knife skills, and, best of all…how to clean up afterwards!

In this single-day session, our professional culinary instructor, along with one kitchen assistants, will guide your child through:

Croissants: A Holiday Baking Adventure

There’s something pretty magical about making a croissant from scratch! In this class, students will learn how simple ingredients like flour, butter, yeast, and milk can be transformed into those flaky, golden layers we all love.

We’ll introduce the kids to the basics of laminating dough, where butter and dough are carefully folded together to create layer upon layer of deliciousness. Students will learn how to roll, shape, and form their own croissants before they head into the oven to bake up beautifully golden and flaky.

There will be plenty to sample in class, but the best part is taking the rest home! Students will leave with homemade croissants that are just in time for the December holidays—perfect for a special breakfast, brunch, or sharing with family and friends.

* Students will be working with nuts, flour, butter, and eggs and so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with nuts, gluten, dairy, or eggs. Our classes are drop-off only- we find parents and younger siblings are a distraction to our young Chefs who are participating. If your child cannot sit and take directions then they may be too young for our class.

In order to create a like-minded education experience, we are FIRM on the age requirement. All students must be at least 8 and no older than 14 in order to attend this class. NO EXCEPTIONS!
