Principles of Cooking: The Art of the Egg

The humble egg is one of the best teachers in the kitchen—and in this class, you’ll see why. As part of our Principles of Cooking series, we’ll focus on mastering techniques, not just following recipes, so you can cook with skill and confidence. You’ll learn to make a silky French omelette, poach eggs to perfection, and create custard-style soft-scrambled eggs so creamy they’ll ruin you for all others. Along the way, we’ll dive into the “why” behind each step-how heat, timing, and seasoning transform texture and flavor—giving you the tools to apply these principles to any dish you make.
