Young Chefs Club: Baking Ages 8-12

In this two-hour hands-on KIDS-ONLY baking class, students are empowered to bake on their own, which builds confidence and independence. In addition, our baking instructors will teach your child how to safely handle baking equipment, develop safe knife skills and best of all…how to clean up afterwards!
In this single day drop-off session our professional culinary instructor, along with two kitchen assistants, will guide your child through:
*Homemade Raspberry Poptarts
*Raspberry Glaze
With a few simple ingredients, breakfast gets a serious upgrade! In this kid-friendly toaster pastry class, young bakers will roll out dough, add a fruity filling, and decorate their own homemade “Pop-Tart-style” pastries. They’ll discover how much fresher and better tasting homemade treats are than the boxed kind, enjoy a sample in class, and bring a few goodies home to share.
* Students will be working with flour, butter, and eggs and so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy, or eggs. Our classes are drop-off only- we find parents and younger siblings are a distraction to our young Chefs who are participating. If your child cannot sit and take directions then they may be too young for our class.
In order to create a like-minded education experience, we are FIRM on the age requirement. All students must be at least 8 and no older than 12 in order to attend this class. NO EXCEPTIONS!
