Cake School: Intro to Piping

Learn the foundations of cake piping with Chef David Terrasi, the familiar face behind all of our cake classes and a trusted guide for students looking to build solid, reliable skills.
This class begins with essential piping techniques—mastering pressure, control, and clean lines—before moving into approachable decorative work such as boarders, rosettes, and simple flourishes. Everything is taught with David’s signature clarity and calm, making each skill easy to understand and apply.
You’ll leave with a collection of piped samples to take home, practice with, and use as a reference for future projects. A strong starting point for anyone ready to elevate their cake decorating. It’s the perfect introduction to the art of piping, one swirl at a time!

*We welcome all ages to attend our cooking classes. However, anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult to attend any of our general classes.
*Every class is fully hands-on, with students working individually or in small groups of up to two to create each dish together.
