KIDS in the Bakeshop – 4 Day Summer Series COOKING DINNER AROUND THE WORLD Age 8-12

This 4-day workshop is designed for kids ages 8-12
TUESDAY July 21st – through FRIDAY July 24th
FROM 3:30-5:30PM, EVERYDAY
Give your young chef the chance to explore global flavors right here in the bakeshop! In this 4-day cooking workshop, Chef Lucy Damkoehler will guide your kid’s culinary imagination across continents as they learn foundational kitchen skills through fun, hands-on cooking projects by dishes from around the world.
Throughout the week, kids will practice real kitchen techniques—prepping, cooking, tasting, and even cleaning up—in a supportive and confidence-building environment. Each day brings a new destination and new skills to try, all scaled perfectly for ages 8-12.
And the best part? Your child will bring home a full dinner (serves four!) each night, proudly made by their own hands and ready to share with the whole house. It’s delicious, empowering, and a fantastic way to spark a lifelong love of cooking.

TUESDAY
China- Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, Stir-Fry Veggies
WEDNESDAY
Greece- Hummus, Greek Salad, Spanakopita Pie
THUSDAY
Japan- Udon Noodles, Japanese Cucumber Salad
FRIDAY
Australia- Australian Meat Pies, Aussie Colesalw
Includes: 4 days of 2-hour hands-on cooking classes, light refreshments in class, 8-inch Chefs Knife, Cut Glove, and dinner to share each night!
This class holds up to 12 students, and must have a minimum of 6 students to run.
In order to create a like-minded education experience, we are FIRM on the age requirement. All students must be at least 8 and no older than 12 in order to attend this class. NO EXCEPTIONS!
* Students will be working with flour, butter, and eggs and so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy, or eggs.
