DESCRIPTION:Roll your sleeves up and join Lucy to learn how to make croissants at home! \nIn this hands-on class\, you will make detrempe and beurrage\, then learn how to fold\, shape\, fill and bake to achieve flaky and delicate croissants! We will discuss dough composition and lamination\, yeast fermentation\, gluten development and flavor formation. We will make Traditional Butter Croissants\, Pain au Chocolat (chocolate croissants) and Croissants au Jambon (Ham and Cheese). You will leave with a bunch of croissant dough you can put in your freezer. Your guests will think you went to France! \nIn this hands-on class you will learn: \n*Butter Croissants \n*Pain au Chocolat \n*Croissants au Jambon \nIncludes: 3-hour workshop\, hors d’oeuvres and dough to make a couple dozen croissants at home! \nLearn what to expect and cooking class policies here. \n*We welcome all ages to attend our cooking classes. If so\, this three-day workshop is their chance to step into the cake shop and try those techniques for real. \nStep into the cake studio for a three-day hands-on workshop designed just for teens ready to level up their creativity—and their cake game. Each day\, Chef David Terrasi\, our resident cake instructor\, will guide your teen through a new set of on-trend techniques inspired by the biggest cake styles of 2026. You’ll practice modern textures\, bold color palettes\, playful piping\, and super-fun finishing details that make today’s cakes stand out. \nBy day three\, they’ll bring all those skills together to design and build their own trendy cake—totally unique\, totally them\, and totally show-off worthy. DESCRIPTION:This 3-day workshop is designed for kids ages 8-12 \nWednesday July 29th – through FRIDAY July 31st  \nFROM 9:00am- 12 noon\, EVERYDAY \nDoes your student dream of running their own candy shop someday? Do they love watching candy-making videos\, dipping\, drizzling\, and imagining what it would be like to create sweets from scratch? If so\, this workshop is just for them! In this 3-day series\, Sweet Lucy will guide participants through melting\, molding\, mixing\, and shaping as they learn how to create some of the most popular chocolate and sugar treats from scratch. \nAt the end of the 3-day workshop\, we’ll help each student “open” their very own mini candy shop showcasing the treats they made all week! The highlight of the class will be the last day—when we open the kitchen to friends and family for a Pop-Up Candy Shop\, where participants will work in teams to design their shop setup and “sell” their products. Every dollar raised will be donated to Stone Soup Café to help support their meal & community store program (everyone will also take home samples of the treats they make every day!). \nIn this 3-day series\, examples of recipes taught may include: Chocolate Bark\, Chocolate Dipped items\, Truffles\, Candy Clusters\, Lollipops\, Marshmallows\, Fudge\, Gummies\, Caramels \nIncludes: 3 days of 3-hour hands-on cooking classes\, light refreshments in class\, a candy-making starter kit\, samples of items made every day\, and the opportunity to experience real-life community building and entrepreneurship. \nThis class holds up to 12 students\, and must have a minimum of 6 students to run. \nIn order to create a like-minded education experience\, we are FIRM on the age requirement.
